Places still available: Using Drama to Enhance Practice
10/03/11 10:57
Places are still available on the workshop New Directions is organising on Thursday 24 March 2011 at the Brewery Theatre, Bristol.
Sign up now if you want to work with some of the leaders in the field and share experiences with consultants from across Europe in working with the use of drama to enhance your practice as a consultant, facilitator, coach or trainer.
• The use of professional role players in assessment and development centres and in other learning interventions is becoming increasingly popular, and has a high level of success feedback from organisations as well as from participants.
• Drama techniques are widely used to help presenters and coaches to develop their technique and presence.
• Plays such as Henry V (and as we will see in the workshop, King Lear) can be a demonstration and source of inspiration and learning for subjects like management and leadership.
In this workshop you can experience, try out and learn from leaders in the field, including Corporate Drama and the Ashridge Centre for Coaching. There will also be opportunities to share experiences and develop applications for yourself through discussion with the facilitators and other participants.
As an event run by practitioners for practitioners, it is being run on a cost recovery, not for profit, basis. Hence the highly accessible price of £125.00 plus VAT, including lunch and refreshments during the day. Special discount of 10% for members of CIPD/CMI/AMED/AMBA. Please mention your membership when booking.
