The new edition of
Cuttings can be found on the website by clicking on
this link.
In this edition, I have found some interesting stuff from Jim Clemmer. Jan Yager and John Baldoni, and i share their insights with you to foster further discussion.
Jim Clemmer has done some more research on the phenomenon that the majority of change programmes and improvement initiatives fail. I quote his top five reasons. Jan Yager has a book on Friendshift (yes it is the correct spelling - he has created a new word!) which helps to put into perspective the question in the Gallup Engagement questions 'I have a best friend at work' - Jan describes a number of Workships: pivotal relationships that are less intimate than friendships but closer than acquaintances. And finally, some top tips from leadership expert John Baldoni on how to influence when you have no authority.
Have fun - and please feel free to share...
